The Presbyterian Church (USA) has always emphasized the importance of field work in its mission.  The United Presbyterian Church supports various local efforts (as well as regional, national, and global) to show Christ's love in the community.

These include:

  • Marquette County West End Food Coalition.
  • The Habitat For Humanity Housing Program.
  • Campus Ministry for UP Colleges and Universities.
  • Presbytery Point Camping Program.
  • Church Development and Redevelopment in Northern Michigan.
  • The Salvation Army Heating Fund and Food Pantry.
  • Outerwear Clothing for needy students in the Elementary Schools.

Presbytery Point Camp Mission Projects 

Special events helped us raise over $1650 for the Dining Hall/Kitchen building fund since May, 2006.  Our thanks go to:

Jean, who designated the free-will offering from the Night of Music

Angela Gabriel, Camp Director, who presented the camp program and mission to our congregation at a benefit luncheon.
